Short routes
Itinerary 3 days/ 2 nights: Oviedo to Bilbao
1st Day: Oviedo - Picos de Europa - Llanes
We will receive you on board the train at Oviedo station at 10:00 a.m. to begin our trip for 3 wonderful days on the Costa Verde Express. Upon arrival, the crew will welcome us with a welcome drink and then we will settle into our luxurious and comfortable suite.
Next, we will set out accompanied by our guide for a visit to the Historic Quarter of Oviedo.
While we enjoy an excellent meal on board the train, we will arrive at Arriondas, from where we will depart with our coach to the Picos de Europa enjoying the Lakes of Covadonga, Santuario and Cangas de Onís, the first Spanish capital after “La Reconquista”.
We will return to the train to enjoy the first dinner on board. The train will remain parked overnight at Llanes station to guarantee a comfortable rest.

• One journey to reach Oviedo.
• One return journey from Bilbao.
For example: if you depart from Madrid, we include the train from Madrid to Oviedo (outbound) and from Bilbao to Madrid (return).
All combinations of cities in Spain are accepted, provided there are medium- or long-distance train connections between them.
In addition, you will have access to Renfe’s Club Lounges at the stations for both the outbound and return journeys.

2nd Day: Llanes - Santillana- Santander
We will begin the day enjoying a comforting breakfast on board while the train takes us to Cabezón de la Sal, from where we will head out to visit the Neo-Cave of Altamira, the greatest example of Upper Paleolithic cave art.
We will then continue with a visit to the medieval town of Santillana del Mar, whose historic quarter is magnificently preserved. After lunch, we will return to the train and set off for the city of Santander. There, we will enjoy a guided tour of the elegant capital of Cantabria and, after the visit, have some free time to stroll around the city at leisure.
After dinner, we will return to the train for an overnight stay in Santander, recharging our energy for the following day.
3rd Day: Santander - Bilbao
During breakfast, the Costa Verde Express will head towards Bilbao. After saying goodbye to the crew and the train, we will begin our visit to the city to delve into its wonderful corners, including the entrance to the famous Guggenheim Museum.
After the visit, we will end our trip through Northern Spain at approximately 2:00 p.m. at the Concordia station.
Itinerary 3 days/ 2 nights: Santiago de Compostela to Oviedo
1st Day: Santiago de Compostela – Viveiro
Our journey begins in Santiago de Compostela, where we will meet at 12:00 p.m. After the initial welcome, we will explore the historic center, a legendary place that has marked the end of the Camino de Santiago for over a thousand years.
Following lunch, a luxury coach will take us to Ferrol, the starting point of our railway adventure. There, the Costa Verde Express awaits us, with the crew offering a warm welcome toast.
As the train begins its journey towards Viveiro, we will enjoy its comfort on board. Upon arrival, we will discover this charming seaside town, followed by dinner and an overnight stay on the train, stationed in Viveiro.

2nd Day: Viveiro – Ribadeo – Luarca – Oviedo
The morning begins with a delicious buffet breakfast while the train takes us to Ribadeo, a Galician town on the border with Asturias. From here, we will travel by coach along the spectacular Lugo coastline until we reach the famous Beach of the Cathedrals, considered one of the most impressive in the world.
After the visit and lunch, we will continue our railway journey into the Asturian lands. Our next stop will be Luarca, known as the White Town of the Green Coast, where we will enjoy a guided tour.
Finally, we will return to the train to head towards Oviedo, where we will spend the night.
3rd Day: Oviedo
After breakfast, we will dedicate the morning to exploring Oviedo, the capital of the Principality of Asturias, a city rich in history, art, and tradition.
At the end of the visit, we will return to the train to collect our luggage and conclude this unforgettable experience at around 2:00 p.m.
