Short routes
Itinerary 3 days/ 2 nights: Oviedo to Bilbao
1st Day: Oviedo - Picos de Europa - Llanes
We will receive you on board the train at Oviedo station at 10:00 a.m. to begin our trip for 3 wonderful days on the Costa Verde Express. Upon arrival, the crew will welcome us with a welcome drink and then we will settle into our luxurious and comfortable suite.
Next, while we enjoy an excellent meal on board the train, we will arrive at Arriondas, from where we will depart with our coach to the Picos de Europa enjoying the Lakes of Covadonga, Santuario and Cangas de Onís, the first Spanish capital after “La Reconquista”.
We will return to the train to enjoy the first dinner on board. The train will remain parked overnight at Llanes station to guarantee a comfortable rest.
2nd Day: Llanes - Santillana- Santander
After our usual and restorative breakfast, we will arrive at Cabezón de la Sal from where we will visit the Altamira Neocave, the greatest exponent of Upper Paleolithic rock art.
We will continue with a visit to the Medieval town of Santillana del Mar. After lunch, we will head by train to the city of Santander. We will take a tour of the elegant capital of Cantabria and after the visit, we will be available to walk freely around the city.
After dinner, we will return to the train to spend the night in Santander and regain strength for the next day.
3rd Day: Santander - Bilbao
During breakfast, the Costa Verde Express will head towards Bilbao. After saying goodbye to the crew and the train, we will begin our visit to the city to delve into its wonderful corners, including the entrance to the famous Guggenheim Museum.
After the visit, we will end our trip through Northern Spain at approximately 2:00 p.m. at the Concordia station.
Itinerary 3 days/ 2 nights: Bilbao to Oviedo
1st Day: Bilbao - Santander
We will receive you on board the train at La Concordia-Bilbao station at 2:00 p.m. to begin our trip for 3 wonderful days on the Costa Verde Express. Upon arrival, the crew will welcome us with a welcome drink and then we will settle into our luxurious and comfortable suite.
The train will head to Santander, where we will take a tour of the elegant capital of Cantabria and after the visit, we will be free to walk freely around the city.
After dinner, we will return to the train to spend the night in Santander and regain strength for the next day.
2nd Day: Santander - Santillana - Llanes
After our usual and restorative breakfast, we will arrive at Cabezón de la Sal from where we will visit the Altamira Neocave, the greatest exponent of Upper Paleolithic rock art. Next, we will continue with a visit to the Medieval town of Santillana del Mar.
We will return to the train to taste the food on board as we head to Llanes. We will visit the fishing village, have an exquisite dinner and spend the night in Llanes to guarantee a comfortable rest.
3rd Day: Llanes - Picos de Europa - Oviedo
After the last breakfast of our trip, we will depart with our coach heading to visit the Sanctuary of Covadonga and Los Lagos, to end our visit in Cangas de Onís, the first capital of the Asturian Kingdom.
Once back on the train, we will eat on board while the Costa Verde Express heads to our final destination, Oviedo, where we will end the tour of Northern Spain at the Oviedo Renfe station at approximately 6:00 p.m.
